Cheese & Onion Mash
Ingredients 4 meduim potatoes 100g grated cheddar cheese 1 small onion, sliced 50g butter salt & pepper 100ml milk
Peel the potatoes and cut into small chunks.
Boil until tender, drain cover with a lid and leave for 5 minutes.
Fry the onion in a little oil until starting to brown.
Mash the potatoes and add the butter and enough milk to make the mash smooth but not runny.
Add the onion and cheese and season to taste.
